Job summary

Accuray Incorporated is seeking a Physics Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote support for Helical Physics and Treatment Planning. You will train customers, develop documentation, and relay feedback to product teams.

You will work with Sales, Training, Applications Support, Field Service, R&D and Engineering to support customers and drive cross-functional projects. The role requires Master’s in Medical Physics or related field, RT experience, and up to 50% travel domestically and

Qualifications

Master's degree in Medical Physics or related field.
Experience troubleshooting and/or supporting Linac operation in RT.
Experience in treatment planning and RT delivery.
Experience in customer support or training in medical imaging or radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and phone support to ensure effective use of Accuray systems.
Deliver training to new and current customers in various formats.
Develop user and customer support documentation and training materials.
Act as liaison between customers and marketing/development for product improvements.
Provide clinical input and review of new products representing customer needs.
Collaborate with R&D Physics to test upcoming product releases and evaluate systems.
Develop and implement processes within the Physics group.
Maintain knowledge of current clinical practices.
