Job summary

Accuray is seeking a Medical Physics Support Specialist to provide expert Helical Physics and Treatment Planning support, training, and customer collaboration. You will work with Sales, Training, Applications, Field Service, R&D, and Engineering to ensure customers successfully operate radiotherapy systems.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field, RT environment experience, and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Medical Physics or a related field is required.
Experience troubleshooting and/or supporting Linac operation in an RT setting is required.
Experience in treatment planning, treatment delivery, Linac QA, and other RT operations is preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% is required.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and phone support to ensure customers can effectively use Accuray systems to treat patients.
Deliver training to new and existing customers in various formats.
Develop user and customer support documentation and training materials.
Act as liaison between customers and marketing/development for product improvements or corrections.
Provide clinical input and review of new products and proposals representing customer needs.
