Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to join the East Texas Physics POD (Longview/Tyler/Palestine). You will work with four other physicists and six dosimetrists to support clinical physics across the region.

The ideal candidate holds a CAMPEP‑accredited degree and residency, ABR certification or in process, and a Texas license, with strong communication skills and a solid background in SRS, SBRT and HDR procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP‑accredited program.
• Graduate from a CAMPEP‑accredited residency program.
• ABR board certification or in process of obtaining certification.
• Eligibility for a Texas medical physics license.
• Strong organization and oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full range of on-site clinical medical physics support at the primary clinic.
