Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a full-time Medical Physicist to join a regional group of five centers in the Dallas metroplex. The role is based at the Medical City location with on-site and occasional remote support across the region.

Responsibilities include full on-site physics support, QA, and collaboration with physicians to optimize treatment planning using Varian Linacs, CyberKnife, and multiple planning systems. CAMPEP-credentialed candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Medical Physics from CAMPEP-accredited program
• CAMPEP residency completion or in progress
• ABR board certification status or in process
• Texas license to practice medical physics
• RAM license eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide full on-site clinical medical physics support
• Occasional on-site or remote physics support for regional sites
• Specify and access dosimetric equipment for calibration and QA
• Advise physicians and staff on treatment planning and delivery
• Demonstrate working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR
• Collaborate with Central Physics team on projects
