Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine LLC is seeking a Medical Payment Poster to support our revenue cycle by accurately posting payments for Workers’ Compensation and employer-based healthcare services. You will audit, process, and reconcile payments while coordinating with claims administrators and adjusters.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with EORs/EOBs, and EMR/billing system proficiency. This position offers a standard Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading and interpreting EORs, EOBs, and payer correspondence preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Post payments, adjustments, and denials to patient accounts in billing/EMR systems.
• Obtain and maintain EOR documentation, proof of payments, and remittance records.
• Track and reconcile insurance payments, including PPO discounts; identify discrepancies or underpayments.
• Communicate with employers, insurers, third-party administrators, and adjusters to verify remittances.
• Document communications and actions related to claims in the EMR or billing system.
• Maintain organized records and route documents to staff as needed.
• Collaborate with billing and collections on projects to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Comply with HIPAA and applicable regulations concerning patient data and payment records.
• Other duties as assigned.
