Job summary

Intermountain Health in Saint George, Utah, seeks a Hematology-Oncology Physician to join a team providing comprehensive cancer care at the St. George Cancer Center.

You will work with 10 oncologists, supporting staff, and APPs to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional experience. Inpatient services are on-call; on-site infusion and radiology support are available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in medical oncology or hematology/oncology.
• Active Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Successful credentialing through Intermountain Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hematology-oncology care as part of a team of oncologists.
• Collaborate with APPs, RNs, MAs, and leadership to ensure excellent patient experience.
• Inpatient oncology services are managed on a call rotation.
• Participate in the Intermountain Cancer Center services and activities.

About This Role

As a Hematology- Oncology Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work in partnership with a team of 10 medical oncologists to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with and have support from APPs, administrative leadership, MAs, RNs, front office support and more.

• This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to$20,000 in relocation assistance, $36,000 residency stipend if applicable, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable
• You will practice at St. George Cancer Center
• Physician will be part of Intermountain's integrated oncology program
• Inpatient oncology services are managed by our team on a call rotation
• Full-service infusion lab on site
• Therapeutic radiology on site
• DNA-sequencing lab, and all the local cancer services are housed in the new Intermountain Cancer Center (opened 2018) on the Dixie Regional Medical Center River Road Campus
• Cancer Center is certified by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer
• Medicare accredited hospice

What You’ll Bring
