Job summary

Intermountain Health invites a Hematology-Oncology Physician to join the St. George Cancer Center team in Utah. You will work alongside 10 medical oncologists and a supportive care team to deliver high-quality cancer care and patient experiences.

The role includes collaboration with APPs, nurses, and administrators in a full-service oncology program, with ample opportunities for professional growth and access to Intermountain’s PEAK education support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training.
• Internal Medicine Board certification or eligibility in medical oncology or hematology/oncology.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

About this role

As a Hematology- Oncology Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work in partnership with a team of 10 medical oncologists to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with and have support from APPs, administrative leadership, MAs, RNs, front office support and more.

• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• up to$20,000 in relocation assistance
• $36,000 residency stipend if applicable
• $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable

Practice Setting

You will practice at St. George Cancer Center. Physician will be part of Intermountain's integrated oncology program. Inpatient oncology services are managed by our team on a call rotation. Full-service infusion lab on site, Therapeutic radiology on site, DNA-sequencing lab, and all the local cancer services are housed in the new Intermountain Cancer Center (opened 2018) on the Dixie Regional Medical Center River Road Campus. Cancer Center is certified by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer, Medicare accredited hospice.
