Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties in Chicago is seeking a Space Planner-Interior Designer to support Asset Management and TI/Capital projects. You will help create test-fits, develop speculative suites, and drive value-add renovations across a medical office portfolio.

You will work with Leasing and third-party architects, render concepts with CAD/SketchUp, and ensure code compliance and consistent finishes across assets. Occasional travel and direct collaboration with leadership are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience OR Associate's degree with 7+ years' experience.
Healthcare experience a plus and familiarity with building codes/ADA.
Knowledge of BOMA standards for floor measurements in medical buildings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD applications, and SketchUp.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously or in a team.

Responsibilities

Create space plans/test-fits for medical office TI projects with Leasing Team.
Develop speculative medical office space suites with the Leasing Team.
Conceptualize capital improvement projects across the portfolio.
Oversee design process with third-party firms and review concepts/drawings.
Develop prototypical finish palettes for a consistent portfolio look.
Produce architectural documents using AutoCAD or similar tools.
Ensure compliance with codes and industry standards for medical offices.
Maintain client relationships and report to EVP, Capital & Tenant Improvement Projects.
