Job summary

Remedy Medical Properties in Chicago seeks a Space Planner-Interior Designer to translate space programs into test-fits and TI plans for medical office spaces, aligning with leasing goals and portfolio standards.

You will coordinate with third-party architects, review drawings for codes and quality, develop finish palettes, and produce CAD documents while maintaining strong client relationships. Requires 5–7 years in healthcare real estate with CAD/SketchUp proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree with related field and years of experience.
Healthcare real estate experience is a plus.
Knowledge of local building codes, ADA, and laws.
Understanding of BOMA standards for floor measurements.
Proficiency in Office, CAD applications, and SketchUp.

Responsibilities

Create test-fits/space plans for medical office TI projects.
Develop speculative medical office space suites with Leasing Team.
Conceptualize and render value-add Capital Improvement projects.
Oversee design with third-party architectural/engineering firms; review drawings for codes.
Develop prototypical finish palettes for portfolio consistency.
Produce architectural documents using AutoCAD or similar.
Adhere to codes and industry standards; stay current with trends.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Report to EVP| Capital and Tenant Improvement Projects.
