Job summary
Remedy Medical Properties in Chicago is seeking a Space Planner-Interior Designer for Asset Management, Capital & TI Projects. You will translate space program needs into test-fits for medical office TI, and help develop speculative suites.
You will coordinate with leasing teams and third-party design firms, review concepts for codes, and help set finish palettes across the portfolio. A background in planning/architecture/interior design and CAD/SketchUp skills are required; travel occasionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus 5+ years in a similar role; or Associate's with 7+ years.
- Healthcare real estate knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of local building codes, ADA, and other applicable laws.
Responsibilities
- Create test-fits and space plans for medical office TI projects with Leasing Team.
- Develop speculative medical office space suites with Leasing Team.
- Conceptualize and render Capital Improvement projects across the portfolio.
- Coordinate design with third-party firms and review concepts for code compliance.
- Develop prototypical finish palettes for portfolio assets.
- Produce architectural documents using AutoCAD or similar.
