Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Receptionist for the Health Services Department at Galion Hospital (Ontario/Bucyrus location). The role supports a range of administrative and medical secretarial duties, assisting with charge entries, billing, and data issues under the Office Manager guidance.

Preferred candidates have 6 months to 1 year of medical office experience; a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Six months to one year experience in medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs a variety of administrative, medical secretarial and/or operational support duties.
• Provides support for any position within Health Services as directed by Office Manager.
• Resolving routine to complex inquiries or problems, completing charge entry, batching bills daily, and resolving related data issues.
