Job summary

Avita Health System in Galion, Ohio is seeking a Receptionist for the Wound Center department. The role coordinates administrative and medical secretarial tasks, supports Health Services as directed by the Office Manager, and handles inquiries, charge entry, and daily billing batching.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, a current Ohio driver's license, and preferably 6 months to 1 year in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current valid Ohio driver's license.
• Six months to one year of experience in a medical office environment as a medical assistant/receptionist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs administrative, medical secretarial and operational support duties.
• Supports any Health Services position as directed by Office Manager.
• Resolves routine to complex inquiries, completes charge entry, batches bills daily, and resolves related data issues.
