Qualifications

• Prior medical receptionist experience preferred; willing to train right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to incoming phone calls from patients, pharmacies, insurances & medical offices.
• Some verification of patient insurance eligibilities & verification.
• Help new patient sign paperwork & new patient contracts.
• Scan patients' insurance cards & driver's licenses in the EMR.
• Scan patient-related documents in patient charts.
• Balance patient & insurance payments on master daily sheet at end of day.
• Schedule new and follow-up patients' appointments.
