Job summary

Integrated ENT, Allergy and Immunology in Syosset, NY is seeking a senior operations leader to supervise practice staff and manage day-to-day operations. The role combines clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth patient care and practice performance.

You will lead staffing, coverage planning, recruitment, and timesheet oversight, while partnering with leadership to address operational challenges and improve quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and day-to-day leadership to practice staff, including Medical Assistants and Patient Specialists.
• Coordinate coverage for employee absences, including sick and vacation time.
• Function in both clinical and administrative support capacities to support practice operations.
• Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions to improve practice performance.
• Monitor provider schedules to ensure optimal utilization and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Evaluate staffing needs based on productivity and demands, and advise on staffing levels.
• Ensure provider and staff coverage to support patient needs and continuity of operations.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff.
• Oversee timesheets and timekeeping for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and leadership to address provider-related concerns and follow up.
• Collaborate on quality initiatives such as UDS, PCMH, ACO, and Maine Health Home.
• Participate in meetings on quality improvement and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate workflows and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
• Support development and implementation of policies related to practice operations and patient service.
