Job summary

Premier Eye Associates is seeking an Office Manager to lead daily office operations in a growing eye care practice. You will coach staff, manage scheduling and workflow, and promote teamwork to ensure exceptional patient experiences from check-in through checkout.

The role emphasizes accountability, professional development, and a positive workplace culture as the practice continues to grow and serve patients with high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a leadership or management role in a medical/eye care setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable to high standards of performance and patient care
  • Oversee daily office operations, staffing, scheduling, workflow, and patient flow to keep the practice running efficiently
  • Train and develop team members while promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor staff performance, address concerns promptly, and help maintain a positive and productive workplace
  • Ensure patients consistently receive an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out
  • Support front desk, technician, and optical functions when needed to maintain efficient patient flow
  • Help implement practice policies, procedures, goals, and operational improvements
  • Maintain strong communication between team members, doctors, and practice leadership
  • Identify problems, take initiative, and develop solutions before they interfere with patient care or office performance
  • Help drive the continued growth and success of the practice through strong leadership, organization, and accountability

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous leadership or management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing an optometry, ophthalmology, or medical office
  • Experience supervising, training, and developing employees
  • Knowledge of front desk, clinical, and optical workflows
  • Experience with employee scheduling and daily staff management
  • Familiarity with insurance, patient scheduling, and medical office operations
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic health record or practice management systems
  • Experience establishing and monitoring performance expectations
  • Proven ability to resolve employee and operational issues professionally
Position Details
  • Compensation: base pay plus a performance-based production bonus
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift: 8-hour shifts
