Job summary

Orthocincy is seeking a patient service representative for a medical practice in Kentucky. The role focuses on delivering a premier patient experience, handling clerical tasks, and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and weekly travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets each patient and visitor in a welcoming manner.
• Communicate with patients, staff, physicians and others in a clinical environment.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene needs as warranted.
• Transfer patients with ambulatory issues as needed.
• Collect and update patient information; maintain electronic medical records.
• Process monetary transactions and balance daily cash drawer.
• Perform clerical duties (phones, messages, fax, scan, etc.).
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and safety standards.
