Seattle Integrative Oncology is seeking an energetic, service-oriented Front Office Coordinator to handle scheduling, registration, check-in/out, and telephone inquiries in a healthcare setting. You will collect patient payments, process records requests, and support staff with front desk tasks in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
As the clinic grows, you may participate in advanced administrative roles, with potential co-supervision of front desk staff and leadership training.
Seattle Integrative Oncology is seeking an energetic, service-oriented professional who has a passion for patient care. As the Front Office Coordinator, you will be expected to fulfill many of the essential day-to-day clerical tasks required to keep a medical practice running smoothly. Primary responsibilities include patient scheduling and registration, appointment check-in/check-out, answering and managing telephone inquiries, collecting patient payments, processing medical records requests, and performing a range of other front desk activities in support of our patients and staff. At all times you will be expected to be a fully engaged member of the SIO care team as demonstrated by a commitment to outstanding customer service and compassion for patients and their families.
While the initial focus of this position is related to front office work, you will have the opportunity to participate in more advanced administrative and operational roles as the clinic continues to grow. This may inlcude co-supervision of front desk staff and advanced training for a future adminstrative role in organizational leadership. Starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, and skills. Education:
Experience: Required: Three years of customer service/clerical experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred: Leadership experience in a healthcare organization and/or background as a staff lead or supervisor. License/Registration/Certifications: Required: N/A
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Required: Computer spreadsheet or database skills. Familiarity with basic marketing concepts. Excellent oral, written, and telephonie communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with outside medical facilities, providers, clinic employees, patients, and family members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include PowerPoint, EXCEL, Outlook, Word, and Publisher. Basic accounting skills relative to the oversight of our supplement dispensary.
