Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, reviewing schedules and records, escorting patients, documenting vitals and history, processing specimens, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting with check-in and insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS for providers from American Heart Association required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and patient service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and cleanliness.
• Review patient schedules, medical records, and preventive care needs.
• Escort patients and document vital signs, medications, allergies, symptoms, and medical history.
• Review test results and report abnormal findings to providers.
• Collect and process lab specimens while maintaining accurate records.
• Perform and assist with EKGs, Holter monitoring, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures.
• Assist with patient check-in, phone calls, and insurance verification.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain efficient daily operations.
