Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our team! We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will create patient charts, pre-populate charts, schedule appointments, and some scribing of notes, addressing insurance, completing prior authorizations, and interacting with physicians and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create patient charts within AdvancedMD. Pre-populate charts.
• Scribing of notes, inputting medications and diagnoses.
• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Complete insurance verifications and obtain prior authorizations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers (physicians and facilities) to ensure efficient workflow.
