ALIGN INTEGRATED CARE PLLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts and pulling notes, support nurses and staff, and help monitor tests and labs to ensure timely care and clear patient communication.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, interest in learning about mental health environment, and prior office experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Handle correspondence with patients

Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working mental health environment, and has previous office experience.
