Cedar Creek Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced medical management for adolescents and adults with mental health needs in a state-of-the-art 81-bed facility.

The NP will diagnose and prescribe under physician supervision, supporting an integrated medicine approach with therapies such as yoga, mindfulness and nutrition. The role requires 40 hours per week on 4x10 hour shifts, with every third weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN licensed to practice in Michigan with an active NP Specialty License.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience strongly preferred.
• Must meet all mandatory education and training requirements needed to maintain Michigan licensure, with a Nurse Practitioner Specialty designation.

Description

The Nurse Practitioner serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of medical management; medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective interventions in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Prescriptive authority is accomplished through the collaboration with a licensed physician.

Schedule

40 hours a week, 4 10 hour shifts, every third weekend rotation required.
