Job summary

Cedar Creek Hospital in Michigan seeks a Medical Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced medical management and prescriptive care in collaboration with a physician. The NP will diagnose and treat adolescents and adults within an integrated care model.

The clinician will operate under physician supervision, maintain Michigan NP licensure, and contribute to an evidence-based, patient-centered treatment approach that includes holistic modalities.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN licensed to practice in Michigan and hold an active Nurse Practitioner NP Specialty License.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience strongly preferred.
• Must meet all mandatory education and training requirements needed to maintain Michigan licensure with an NP designation.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical management and prescriptive authority in collaboration with a physician.
• Collaborate with a licensed physician to diagnose and treat patients across adolescent and adult populations.

Description

The Nurse Practitioner serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of medical management; medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective interventions in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Prescriptive authority is accomplished through the collaboration with a licensed physician.
