The position provides health-related services in a 1:1 setting, including assessments, health plan implementation, and medication dispensing, under supervision of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Medical training preferred and three years of public school experience with special needs and/or medically fragile students.
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal, with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules, and manuals; produce routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Confer with teachers and colleagues to plan routines, healthcare, and 504/IEP objectives.
• Assist students with physical education and other activities.
• Assist teachers in testing/assessment and maintain accurate student data.
