Responsibilities

• This role focuses on supporting attorneys in medical malpractice and related litigation matters by organizing case files, managing deadlines, and tracking key case developments.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting factual and legal research, reviewing medical records and other documents, drafting and formatting pleadings, discovery requests, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• The Med Mal Paralegal will also assist with deposition and trial preparation, coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses, and maintain accurate case management systems and billing records.
• Collaboration with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient, detail-oriented support across all phases of litigation is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in law and familiarity with litigation processes, preferably with experience in medical malpractice or personal injury matters.
