Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP in Seattle is seeking a dynamic Attorney to join our Medical Malpractice and Healthcare Defense practice.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, admission to the WA bar, and a minimum of two years in defense litigation; nursing home defense experience is a plus. We offer a flexible hybrid schedule and competitive compensation with benefits.

Must be admitted to practice in WA.
A minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience.
Nursing Home defense experience is a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present legal arguments clearly and concisely.

Mansioni

Manage a diverse caseload, focused on medical malpractice claims, while ensuring all legal matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate closely with attorneys, team members, and partners on strategic legal projects, fostering strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
Take ownership of important case-related activities, including attending court appearances, depositions, motion hearings, and other legal proceedings, including participation at trial.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing detailed case updates, managing client expectations, and offering proactive solutions.
Draft and review complex legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements.
Contribute to the development of case strategies and support senior team members in preparing for trials and settlement negotiations.
