Job summary

Cole, Scott, & Kissane seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group. Our Medical Malpractice attorneys defend doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers and facilities.

The attorney will take and defend depositions, draft motions, participate in hearings and trials, perform legal research, prepare pleadings, and communicate with clients and experts while upholding CSK standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Florida Bar member upon employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and analyze case law.

• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior civil litigation experience required
