Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group. You will defend doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers and facilities.

Responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, attending hearings, mediations, and trials, and performing legal research with client communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Prior civil litigation experience required
