Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role defends doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers.

Responsibilities include taking depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and appearing at hearings, mediations, and trials, with a focus on legal research and client communication. Florida Bar admission and civil litigation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior civil litigation experience required.
