Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group in Tampa. Responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and representing clients at hearings and trials.

Qualified candidates are Florida Bar members with strong written and verbal communication, civil litigation experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and performance bonuses.

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks an associate attorney to join our Medical Malpractice group. Our Medical Malpractice attorneys defend doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Take and defend depositions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients
