Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Great civil litigation attorney for a boutique-mid sized firm on the Main Line, Berwyn, PA. The firm handles complex medical malpractice cases and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will manage a full caseload, draft pleadings, negotiate documents, and appear in court as needed. PA bar membership and 2+ years of civil litigation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice law in PA.
• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload of medical malpractice cases, from inception through trial or resolution.
• Conducting thorough analysis of complex legal issues related to medical malpractice and healthcare law.
• Interacting with clients to keep them informed about case progress and respond to questions.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Representing clients in court, at depositions, and at other proceedings.
• Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure smooth office operations.
• Staying updated on changes in medical malpractice and insurance defense law to provide accurate advice.

Responsibilities

• Handling a full caseload of medical malpractice cases, from inception through trial or resolution.
• Conducting thorough and thoughtful analysis of complex legal issues related to medical malpractice and healthcare law.
• Interacting with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases and to answer their questions and concerns.

• Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal office.
• Staying updated on the latest changes in medical malpractice and insurance defense law to provide the most accurate advice to clients.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice law in PA
• A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
