Qualifications

• ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS required; minimum three years in health sciences library or academic library reference/instruction.
• Experience with medical/graduate student populations and literature searches.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage time and priorities.
• Knowledge of library instructional assessment techniques; strong teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students and faculty to search medical databases and evaluate sources.
• Provide workshops on citation management and evidence-based practice.
• Guide faculty and students on research projects and literature reviews; assist with systematic reviews when appropriate.
• Contribute to curriculum design and library instruction in collaboration with BSOM and library leadership.
