About the job Medical Laboratory Technologist (LAB)

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will assist the Medical Laboratory Specialists in the coordination of laboratory activities. They will provide accurate, timely and cost-effective testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in compliance and harmony with the quality management system of ISHU. They will be involved in the daily labs activity within all the Sub-Unit conducting advanced laboratory investigations, but they will also be called to contribute to the general Labs guard shift during weekdays, weekend and holidays.

Education and Experience profile:

• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology or its equivalent from recognised University/Institution
• Must be registered (or meet the requirements for registration, if currently working abroad) to the Ugandan Allied Health Professionals Council
• Tracked professional experience within the Ugandan Healthcare System
