Job summary

The Staff Pad in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Medical Technologist for a full-time day shift to support accurate diagnoses and patient care. You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment and work with a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires an associate degree in laboratory science and at least one year of hospital lab experience; ASCP/AMT certification is preferred, and BLS is expected within the first week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting, including Blood Bank experience.
• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate and maintain sophisticated medical equipment.
• Analyze, verify, and manage laboratory data.
• Maintain quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver timely, accurate results.

Education

Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science

1 year hospital laboratory experience
