Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Phlebotomist License required.
• Active Washington State MA-P License required.

Responsibilities

• Organize workflow and manage time effectively to complete technical tasks within turn-around times.
• Operate and adjust laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and computer systems to calculate, record, evaluate, and transmit test data.
• Apply professional judgment to analyze and interpret laboratory results across all clinical sections, including Hematology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Serology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Urinalysis.
• Perform specimen collection (venipuncture, capillary draws, culture swabs) on patients of all ages.
• Instruct nursing staff on proper specimen collection methods and procedures.

Washington State MA-P License
