Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources, ensuring accurate results and patient care. You will manage specimen handling, instrument maintenance, and quality control, support training, and help maintain productivity and policy compliance in a clinical setting.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's in a relevant science or equivalent experience; MLT certification is preferred and military experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field or equivalent experience.
• Certification or eligibility as an MLT is preferred.
• Military experience in related roles is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Managing specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and resolving discrepancies.
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenishing supplies and following reporting procedures using multiple computer applications.
• Assisting in training new employees and participating in ongoing education.
• Maintaining productivity, efficiency, and compliance with policies in a clinical environment.
