Responsibilities

Analyzing lab tests is complex. We rely on our medical technologists to evaluate tests to determine patient health, vital for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. What You’ll Do

• Perform tests according to local and state requirements and Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide excellent patient care within established turnaround times
• Assist in maintaining major automated equipment
• Participate in proficiency testing and ongoing education
• Complete work and escalate issues as needed
• Follow all regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as required
• Qualified MLS candidates may be considered for similar roles

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Medical Lab Technology or related field as defined by CLIA
• OR high school diploma/GED and military training as Medical Lab Specialist
• Preferred: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist by ASCP
• Proper training in clinical lab science
• Position may be filled as MLS Med Lab Scientist for qualified applicants
