Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Technician II to support our client’s medical facility based in Indianapolis, IN, USA 46214. This is a 10-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Medical Lab Technician II
Location: Indianapolis, IN, USA 46214
Duration: 10 Months+
Pay rate: $25-$29 per hour
Schedule: 8am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
The work environment/department will be listed in the requirement. Responsibilities include determining the acceptability of specimens for testing, performing routine and complex technical procedures according to SOPs, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, making technical decisions, preparing reagents, reporting test results, and maintaining quality control and safety standards. Assisting with specimen processing and maintaining supplies are also required.
Requirements: Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meeting local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements. A minimum of 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. A State Medical Technician license may be required (to be listed in the requirement). ASCP or AMT certification is either required or will be listed in the requirement. Ability to work independently and in a team, proficiency with computers, and familiarity with laboratory information systems are preferred. Attention to detail, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to pass a vision screen are necessary. Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed.
