Job Description
HealthPartners is hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technician working in our Central Lab.
Qualifications
REQUIRED: Associate’s degree in a lab science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or graduate from a 12-month approved school for Certified Laboratory Assistants and eligible to be certified. Documentation of experiences performing high complexity testing prior to 9/1/92.
Certification by an agency approved by the ASCP Board of Certification or AMT. If not currently certified, must register for certification within 45 days of hire and obtain certification within 6 months.
Qualified to work in a highly complex laboratory as mandated by CLIA.
Promote teamwork through demonstration of a courteous and cooperative attitude.
Preferred: Six months of related medical training or experience, typing or keyboard skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, possess speech, hearing, sight skills, manual dexterity, and proficiency in English. Some lifting may be required.
