Vernon Health is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist to join our Laboratory Services team. This Generalist will perform a broad scope of testing procedures across departments for patients of all ages.

We offer a collaborative work environment with strong emphasis on quality patient care. The role requires ASCP certification preferred and CPR certification, with 7 days on / 7 days off schedule and night shift differentials.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

Description

Vernon Memorial Healthcare is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist/technologist to join our Laboratory Services team. This position functions as a Generalist, demonstrating full competency across laboratory departments and performing a broad scope of testing procedures for patients of all ages.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform and report a variety of laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources.

Education & Certifications

Education: B achelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; or have earned an associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

• Certification:ASCP certification preferred; CPR certification required
• Experience:Minimum3 years of relevant laboratory experiencestrongly preferred
