Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our Laboratory Services team. You will perform and analyze a variety of tests, ensure specimen integrity, and report results accurately to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science (or international equivalent) is required.
• ASCP certification for MLS/MT within one year of hire is required or an accepted equivalent.
• MLT ASCP certification within one year of hire is required.
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or HEW Certificate accepted.
• Copy of highest diploma or degree must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze laboratory tests to aid diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Obtain, process, and ensure integrity of blood and body fluids.
• Communicate critical results to healthcare providers in a timely manner.
• Lead or supervise lab sections and provide support to colleagues as needed.
