Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for the Old Bridge, NJ hospital-based lab (Raritan Bay). The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational weekend coverage. A $5K sign-on is available for external candidates.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range and potential performance bonuses. Responsibilities include high/complex testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and accurate reporting of patient results.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs ensuring quality control requirements are met.
• Enter results into the Laboratory Information System for physician review.
• Maintain safe, clean laboratory areas and equipment.
• Assist with training and competency checks for staff.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements.
