Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical tasks in a high-volume clinical laboratory. You will maintain equipment, manage inventory, collect specimens, and report results per SOPs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a medical/clinical lab field, 2+ years of experience preferred, and strong English communication. Benefits start Day One, with a daytime schedule and potential sign-on/relocation bonuses for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• 2+ years of clinical lab experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, inventory control, and specimen collection.
• Conduct analytical testing and report results in accordance with SOPs.
• Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance activities.
• Support education to clinical staff and supervise/train new employees as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and proper handling of hazardous materials.
