Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform high-quality testing across neonate to geriatric patients in a busy hospital laboratory. The MT ensures accuracy, safety and compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA and CLIA standards.

Required licensure or registration within six months (ASCP preferred); education can be a Bachelors or Associate degree in a lab science. Hospital lab experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration required within six months of hire (ASCP preferred).
• Education: bachelor’s degree in a relevant lab science OR associate’s degree in a laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• Hospital laboratory experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical quality testing for neonates to geriatric patients in clinical labs.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, CLIA standards.
• Support MT practice and participate in ongoing education and assigned duties.
