Atlantic Health System seeks a Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist to supervise specimen processing and high/moderate complexity testing. You will report accurate results, ensure regulatory compliance, and support patient care by collaborating with teams to improve workflow.

Responsibilities include leading laboratory staff, maintaining quality control, participating in proficiency testing, and ensuring safety and compliance with Atlantic Health procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with CLIA high/moderate complexity testing.
• Ability to lead and coach laboratory staff.
• Proficiency with HIS/LIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and proficiency testing procedures.

Responsabilités

• Oversee specimen processing and accessioning according to guidelines.
• Perform CLIA high/moderate complexity testing.
• Review final reports for accuracy and correlate results with diagnoses.
• Maintain and document quality control, instrument calibrations, and maintenance.
• Lead and coach laboratory team members, ensuring competency and adherence to PRIDE values.
• Manage inventory and ensure safety procedures are followed.
