You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain quality control, operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, and collaborate with teams to support patient care and workflow efficiency. Proficiency in HIS and LIS software is required, and training of staff is available.

Responsabilidades

• Specimen processing and accessioning following guidelines.
• Performs high/moderate complexity testing.
• Troubleshoot issues and report accurate results.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Document instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance.
• Participate in proficiency testing and treat samples as patient samples.
• Manage inventory by rotating stock and checking expiration dates.
• Assist training of team members and students.
• Follow Atlantic Health safety procedures.
