Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. in Irving, TX seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist for onsite local contract work. The role runs 6+ months with a Tue-Sat shift, including 4p–12:30a CST and training 11a–7:30p.

You will perform specimen testing, ensure accurate results, and maintain complete testing records. A BS in Medical Technology or related field is preferred, with national MT/MLT certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of basic laboratory testing.
• Knowledge of QA and QC practices.
• Ability to work across multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling and testing.
• Maintain records of test results and proficiency samples.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Document QC activities and instrument calibrations.
• Identify and report issues affecting test performance.
• Participate in safety trainings and department communications.
• Support customers or lab staff with questions where needed.
• Maintain on-site testing records and department cleanliness.
