Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a 3-month contract in Clifton, NJ. The role is onsite with a night shift from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, paying $40.00 per hour in USD.

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. as visa sponsorship is not available. Responsibilities include specimen handling, testing, reporting and maintaining quality control records in a CLIA-compliant lab setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology preferred or closely related field.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing aligns with patient testing.
• Review and release test results; ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety rules.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Identify and report issues affecting test performance or reporting to supervisor.
• Maintain complete on-site testing records and department appearance.
• Attend monthly department trainings and safety sessions.
