Job summary

The MLS will support LEAN projects and CAP accreditation efforts in a growing lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a lab discipline; ASCP/AMT or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of medical laboratory experience.
• Certification at technologist level preferred (ASCP/AMT or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood, body fluids, and specimens.
• Operate manual and automated instruments to ensure accurate results.
• Navigate laboratory information systems with precision.
• Contribute to LEAN process improvement and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care.
• Maintain proficiency in one's laboratory discipline and stay current with techniques.
