Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological or medical science (Bachelor’s required).
• Five years minimum laboratory experience and MT (ASCP) certification required.
• Ability to problem solve and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills required; advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all pre-analytical activities in the lab during the assigned shift.
• Lead process improvements and root-cause analysis to enhance service quality.
• Maintain a quality management system per accreditation standards.
• Facilitate education and training in Receiving & Processing including external staff.
• Monitor productivity and ensure appropriate turn-around times.
• Assist in staff recruitment and performance evaluation/documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, CMS, OSHA, and TJC requirements.
