Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field is required.
• Passing score on the Clinical Laboratory Technology Proficiency examination approved by HHS (HEW) is required.
• 0–2 years of acute care experience is required; 1 year in Blood Bank is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity lab tests accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and document results.
• Conduct instrument checks and preventative maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and notify appropriate personnel.
